Blow Hole
The Kiama Blowhole is one of Australia’s most famous natural wonders, attracting visitors from around the world. Located on the stunning South Coast of New South Wales, this majestic sea cave formation creates an awe-inspiring display as ocean waves surge into the rocky opening, forcing water up to 30 meters (100 feet) into the air.
Formed by volcanic activity millions of years ago, the blowhole is at its most dramatic during high tides and strong southerly winds.
Lighthouse
Perched on Blowhole Point, the Kiama Lighthouse has stood as a guiding light for sailors since 1887. Overlooking the stunning coastline of Kiama, NSW, this historic lighthouse is one of the town’s most iconic landmarks, offering breath-taking ocean views and a glimpse into Australia’s maritime heritage.
The white, cylindrical tower stands 36 meters (118 feet) above sea level and continues to operate today, assisting vessels along the South Coast.
